Blaker Son & Young is regulated by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority. Blaker Son & Young have a franchise contract for the provision of Family work (legal aid) with the Legal Services Commission (www.legalservices.gov.uk).
Blaker Son & Young has a Civil Contract with the Legal Services Commission to provide Legal Help (free advice) for certain types of work (principally family work) on a means tested basis and to provide Public Funded work for more difficult cases which go to court. This type of funding is often generally referred to as ‘legal aid’.
Blaker Son & Young is a member of the ‘Lawyers for your Business’ scheme which is aimed giving a free diagnostic interview to people who want to start up business.
