Congratulations to Heather (Private Client) on the birth of her second child Isabella in July! This comes after her marriage last year and all seems to be going well with mother and child. Congratulations also to Heather on passing her Probate Succession Law and Probate Practice papers – and taking the exams when she was shortly due to give birth – a major achievement.
Also congratulations to Yvonne (Family) on the birth of her first grand child, Louis in May – Yvonne is very proud of her grandson and dotes in typical style!

This year the firm has sponsored an exhibition of the photographic work of Lee Miller and Sir Roland Penrose at Farleys Farm, Chiddingly. Lee was married to Sir Roland and both were major figures in the Surrealist movement in the 1930s and 1940s, being associated with Picasso, Mann Ray, and others. The exhibition will be going on tour and is aimed at increasing the awareness of the artistic perspective in this genre for schools and colleges. The exhibition is organised by Farleys Farm Trust, a charity established (with the help of BSY) to improve educational awareness of the arts by Tony Penrose, the son of Lee and Sir Roland.
